Progress is a full blown process.
Left: 6 weeks ago deadlift 225lbs for 1 rep
Middle: 2 yrs ago. Eating what I want. Doing bare minimum cardio. Not eating every few hours. Not drinking enough water. Skipping breakfast.
Right: This past Saturday deadlifting 225lbs for 5 reps.
[excuse my moans and grunts…I workout loud .]
I am not perfect. I have a trillion flaws. I’m working on myself everyday. I have goals that really scare me. But I am working towards something. We should always be working towards something 💙💪

Hey! Happy Sunday. On Thursday…God told me I would feel my father in some way this weekend. Last night took a random trip to the record store 😍. My dad used to be a DJ and I still have all his records. When God speaks…listen ❤️

Highlights from my experience at the #WBF World Basketball Festival this past week with my co-workers. ❤️Taught a bootcamp in sand. Thanks to everyone who came out! Working out is one thing…working out in sand is on a whole other sweaty level! Had to go back to the gym with sand in my shoes to train my evening clients 😅 !!
P.S. Anytime I have a bootcamp with @suraqah … He always cheats on the tug-of-war!

Hi hi! People ask me all the time if I take rest days! Yes…yes I do! Today was an active recovery day! I worked on my snatches and over head squats! How did I do? 🙆🙆
I hope you all have a safe Friday! If your cheat meal is set for Saturday or Sunday…stick with that! It’s best to have it one day…not the entire weekend. The goal is to shock your digestive system and let it know you’re not dieting and you still have the occasional salt and grease! That doesn’t mean overdo it three straight days 💪
I wake up everyday and miss my dad so much sometimes I feel like I can’t do it. As in…I can’t do anything! Then I ask myself what he would want me to do.
We all have triumphs, struggles, stressors, life circumstances, and so on that we could let drive us crazy. We have to choose, though. Will these things make us stronger and better or will we allow them to tear us down completely? Yes…it is okay to have day(s)…I know I have mine. But if God gives it to you…know, He trusts you 100% to handle the situation.
But see, I have these crazzzyyyyy dreams and goals that aren’t going to achieve themselves. I set a new goal today…I pray I am able to share it with you, soon! 💙
