Hi…
I’ve thought about growing my hair back recently but I prayed about it and remembered why I cut it in the first place. It was just time. I had wanted to do it for two years. Finally I stopped being so afraid and chopped it off! 

Life is so short. So much we worry about what others will think. We worry that if we make certain decisions we will lose everything. We worry that we will get hurt. Yup!

I am starting to wonder…is the worrying now worth the regret later? Later will we say…why didn’t I just follow my heart and do what I wanted to do? Life is short. Be happy. ❀️

Hiiiiii Monday πŸ’β˜•οΈπŸ’ͺ


Swear that raise the roof emoji is me on a typical day! Ask anybody! lol. 


How do I feel about shakes and powders as meal replacements?
•As a certified nutritionist and weight loss counselor, I have to be honest and say I do not believe in meal replacements. Can you create a smoothie with fruit and vegetables and protein powder with a fat like peanut butter inside and use it for breakfast? Yes! Something like this has real nutrition: fruits, veggies, protein, and fat! 
•What I do not believe in is replacing powders and shakes for multiple meals throughout your day. Having a protein shake post workout is one thing…but totally neglecting proper nutrition in take from real and solid food is a big mistake toward a healthier lifestyle. You are missing out on so much. Don’t spend your money purchasing all these companies diet shakes. Go to the grocery store! I’ll go with you! 
•Remember, nothing can replace the nutrition is a chicken breast or egg white or spinach. (Just examples)
•Eat REAL FOOD to be successful.

Over head Squats
Had to re-up on the core strength/balance after the first rep πŸ˜†
I’m sure my shoulders will be shot tomorrow. Was shooting for 12 reps but did 8. Core control. This, for me, makes my core stronger, not 1,000,000 crunches.

Did you know that I am NOT a fan of not eating before bed time? I actually eat right before I fall asleep. During rest/recovery/sleep the muscle builds and it needs FOOD and NUTRITION to do so! What are some of your favorite healthy before bed snacks/meals? πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ

4 reps…ima clean em up tho. Not too much worried about that. More so fascinated with how last year at this exact time I dropped this weight in the squat rack! I was embarrassed!
